About Us

April 2013 2 phone 011Relaunched in 2012, PaCDDA is a charitable organisation that supports children and adults with dyslexia, their families, educators and employers; and aims to raise awareness of dyslexia.

We run Children Will Shine workshops in Peterborough and we have some wonderful stories of children whose lives are being transformed; they are now enjoying rather than dreading going to school, and are increasingly excited by learning.

We are part of the British Dyslexia Association (BDA) and are funded by membership subscriptions and our own fundraising efforts.

Our vision is of a society where people with dyslexia are supported and able to fulfil their individual potential.

Our mission is to be a sustainable organisation, providing support to individuals of all ages affected by dyslexia and to raise awareness of dyslexia in all aspects of life in our region.

We are also looking to start Parent support networks on social media for parents in our area and are looking for IT savvy volunteers to help set up and run this. If you could help, do get in touch! Use our contact form.
